About Jake
Growing up, I thought photographers were not very cool.
In 2004ish I went out and bought a digital still camera and started experimenting. In 2006 I started to become more serious, and my passion for photography has progressed to what it is today.
I have been told that I have a thing for clean, graphic composition with great light, and a knack for catching the decisive moment. I much prefer being outside, on location somewhere to being cooped-up in a studio – life doesn’t happen in a studio. I always though good photos were like good jokes; if you have to explain it, it just isn’t that good.
